CanvasVerdictThe verdict

Privacy Policy

What this site collects, what it never does with it, and how to be heard on the matter.

This policy is deliberately short, because the facts are short: CanvasVerdict collects very little, and does very little with it. Last revised August 2026.

What we collect

Two categories, and only two. First, your email address, if and only if you choose to subscribe to our updates — we use it to send those updates and for nothing else, and every message includes an unsubscribe link that works on the first click. Second, basic aggregate analytics: which pages are read, roughly where in the world readers arrive from, and which sites referred them. These figures describe traffic in bulk, not individuals, and we do not build profiles of any reader.

What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with third parties for their marketing. We run no advertising network on these pages, so no ad broker observes your reading habits here. Your email address is not a revenue stream on this site and never will be — the court considers that matter settled without need for argument.

Cookies

We keep cookies to the minimum required for the analytics described above. When you follow one of our outbound referral links, the destination site may set its own cookies under its own policy — that is the partner's conduct, governed by the partner's rules, and it begins the moment you leave our pages.

This site earns commissions through referral links. How that works, which direction the money flows, and why it never alters a ruling are set out in full in our affiliate disclosure, which forms part of this policy by reference.

Data requests

To see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, write to the clerk at [email protected] or through our contact page. Given how little we collect, most requests amount to deleting an email address from the subscriber list, and we handle them promptly and without ceremony. Subscriber addresses are retained only for as long as the subscription stands; unsubscribe, and the address leaves our records with you. If this policy changes in any material way, the revision date above changes with it.
